Join professional photographer and Sony ambassador Scott Kranz for an exclusive, subscriber-only sunset and astrophotography workshop to capture the magic of one of the best places in the Pacific Northwest: North Cascades National Park.
Whether you're looking to refine your sunset/astrophotography skills, try it out for the first time, or have an opportunity to test out Sony camera kits in the field, this unique workshop is designed to help you grow as a photographer and experience something new.
This workshop is held on the new moon, which can produce some of the most ideal conditions for astrophotography.

WHAT TO EXPECT
A hands-on, late-afternoon/evening workshop focused on sunset and astrophotography.
Fully-guided group session, walking you through techniques and approaches for sunset landscape shooting and astrophotography.
Itinerary is weather dependent. Full details shared following booking.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This workshop is open to photographers of all levels, even beginners.
Recommended that you have at least basic-level experience using your camera.
Need a camera for the workshop, or wish to test out a new camera kit? Limited Sony Alpha camera rentals will be available for testing, free of charge.
Meet your instructor
Scott Kranz is a Minnesota-bred, Seattle-based photographer, filmmaker, and educator. When he moved from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest in 2013, he couldn’t have imagined how the mountains there would forever change his life. He just knew their natural beauty held an undeniable power, and that his life’s work would soon become visual storytelling in the outdoor spaces where we work and play. Since then, Scott has become an industry leader, partnering with the world’s leading outdoor brands while shooting on all seven continents.

Certified Wilderness First Responder and LNT Trainer.
The requisite Commercial Use Authorization.

Transportation to and from the workshop.
