PRE-ORDER Scott Kranz’s 2027 Calendar, “Mountains to Coast,” which traces a journey across Washington State’s most striking landscapes, from alpine summits to salt water. Each month features a photograph capturing a different facet of the region, from snow-draped ridgelines in the Mount Baker backcountry to fog-laced forests and short-eared owls hunting the fields of the Skagit Valley. The calendar continues south and west to sea stacks and rock features along the Pacific coast and Salish Sea, then back into the mountains for golden larch and fall meadows at Sahale Arm and in the Methow Valley.
